Trusting God When Fortitude Fails You

Finding Peace in the Presence of God

Fight The Good Fight

Around the world Israelites are being attacked physically and verbally by malignant people. As I continue to follow this ongoing tragedy I find myself feeling a little afraid of the world. We can feel so helpless at times like this. I have watched several Israelis anguishing in concern for loved ones who are still missing. As I listened I noticed many saying they will prevail. This defiance is not just against the terrorists but against satan himself.

“For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm.”
‭‭Ephesians 6‬:‭12‬ ‭CJB‬‬

We know this! My brothers and sisters in Christ know this! Our Heavenly Father has told Israel and us to be strong and courageous.

“Haven’t I ordered you, ‘Be strong, be bold’? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.””
‭‭Joshua 1:9‬ ‭CJB‬‬

“Be strong, be bold, don’t be afraid or frightened of them, for Adonai your God is going with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
‭Deuteronomy 31:6 CJB‬‬

We are not helpless. We have a God, the one true God on our side. He has given us every piece of war equipment we need.

“So take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won, you will still be standing.”
‭‭Ephesians 6‬:‭13‬ ‭CJB‬‬

Praise our Heavenly Father and take a stand against the enemy. Fight the good fight with prayer and trust in His protection.

Pray for Israel 🇮🇱

About Me

I love God who loves me. I am a wife and mother. I have spent most of my life keeping God at a distance. Of course He was always right here with me. In a world where we may feel we can never measure up, God tells us “we are fearfully and wonderfully made”. I had so much guilt and shame that I developed from a childhood experience. Because of my guilt and shame I often felt unworthy and sinful. I often tried to do the “ right thing”, but I found it easier to just accept who I thought I was and would always be. Giving my life to Jesus gave me freedom but I held on to my old beliefs far too long. I hope to encourage others to seek God in all things and trust in Him and not the world.
“ For sin will not have authority over you; because you are not under legalism but under grace.” Romans 6:14 CJB
